It seems somewhat perverse
but there’s not been much verse
on this site in a very long while.

I guess I presumed
that the chocolate consumed
was enough to make everyone smile.

While I’m washing the table
I ought to be able to come up
with a small bit of wit.

But I’m too occupied
and my brain is tongue-tied
so I froth up some chocolate and sit.

Now the day’s done;
had a good bit of fun
gonna turn off the light
and wish you Good Night.
(But I’ll leave the front window lights lit.)

Fear not and no sorrow–
We’ll see you tomorrow!
