Art Exhibit–Chocolate Noir: The Light in the Dark

I could have written this poem myself. It feels like something I would write. Those who pen the same poetry are kindred spirits, a fact I knew from the moment Kristin and I met.

Her images are starkly elegant, impart a sense of transience that mirrors what I create in chocolate. A four-time cancer survivor, Ms. Boudreau has experienced the boundaries of life in a way few of us have need to do, and her art reflects her experience. Over the years, Kristin’s photographs of Dancing Lion Chocolate have kept me honest, kept me humble, and have inspired me to create art worthy of her camera.
