Lived on the Pacific Island of Guam in the early 70’s. Coconuts in our backyard. My Dad would poke their eyes out so we could drink the milk, then we’d break into them for the meat. Mom cooked and baked, and we’d often finish with cookies of some sort. Caught a lot of geckos, too.
