!Caramel Pecan Roll

When I was young my Dad was in the Air Force and we moved from place to place every few years (but sometimes every few months) and that meant I grew up on road trips, and some of those road trips were through the South and traveling through the South meant you stopped for gas at the nearest Stuckeys (sort of like a truck stop convenience store gas station sort of thing where there were sometimes Texaco stations with big model gasoline and fire trucks under glass counters) and Stuckeys meant gooey sweetsweetsweet caramel pecan logs rolled with marshmallow that stuffed enough sugar into your system to make your brain melt, which probably explains a lot about me today, or would if my Mom ever let me actually buy or eat one, which she didn’t.

Imagine a caramel pecan roll made with Imperial Sichuan Peppercorn caramel rolled in toasted pistachios and dipped in chocolate.

p.s. The “!” in the title is Programmer-speak for “not.” Consider it a coder pun.
