Cacao Connoisseur’s Club Liner Notes
Laura and I have been seeking a chocolate from Peru, where cacao is old but chocolate is new.
We settled upon Palo Blanco from a maker in North Carolina. While the feel’s not as crisp as we’d like it to be, the exploding flavor of dark cherry and blackberries more than makes up for the slight imperfection.
This chocolate may be an indication that chocolate’s the future of the Peruvian nation.
