I was an untempered gent when I encountered Ellison, and experience in the form of I HAVE NO MOUTH AND I MUST SCREAM followed by A BOY AND HIS DOG. Mr. Ellison wrote big emotions into few words, words that had power and mattered. He was irascible and intense; his typewriter spoke volumes and held little back. A truffle for Ellison Wonderland.
