When you arrive around 2:00 PM on Saturday, we’ll greet you with a cup of my traditional hot chocolate cooked slowly until it’s smooth and silky. Late afternoon the guests will gather for a formal chocolate tasting; expect to learn a lot about chocolate and taste six of the finest chocolates in the world. Later we’ll enjoy an elegant dinner with savory chocolate dishes and live guitar music. The evening will complete with coffee, tea, and some of my handcrafted truffles and bonbons. You’ll wake the following morning to home-baked cherry-cacao scones with coffee, tea, or orange juice, and we’ll wrap up at noon on Sunday with a hands-on truffle-making class–you’ll learn how to make simple elegant chocolate truffles and take home the results!
You can view the rooms on the Wild Orchard Guest Farm website. The cost of the Valentine’s Weekend is $100.00 over the cost of the room itself, plus the 9% NH meals and room tax. Let me know the room you’d prefer as well as an alternate if it’s already taken and I’ll contact you for a down payment.
