Mild and delicate, my attention
On other things (in Firenze, there
are many other things!)
I thought it nice.As I walked the streets and piazzas
And nibbled, the taste of rosy peaches
And apricots blended with the
Cioccolato and my attention
No longer lingered on other things.I sit at my table and taste
Apricots and peaches and cioccolato
And my attention wanders
Along the the narrow sidewalks
And winding alleys, to a small shop
In Firenze.
