Warm spice makes me think of root beer on a hot day in some place like Columbus, Ohio, rolling around on the freshly-cut (or not) lawn, chasing fireflies with a jar (holes in the lid) at dusk. I never minded being a kid, though I never quite knew where I was. But some times there was root beer.
