Incantation (I)

December 29, 2025 by Richard Tango-Lowy

The chiles smell of chocolate and dark cherries

Chocolate tastes of cherries
and aged balsamico I purchased in
Firenze a decade or more past.

I bind them with black tea,
scents of rhubarb, cornflower.
Almond.

Incantation.
