Fortunate One Bar

Dan Pearson and Brian Horsely discovered this cacao high in the Marañon Cañon of Peru, hidden and isolated or 5,000 years. The beans are pure white and pure Nacional, an exquisitely rare and unusual genetic profile.

It’s likely the Mayo-Chinchipe-Maranon people carried the cacao up the river about 6,000 years ago.
This 72% very dark milk chocolate was custom-crafted or us by Fruition Chocolate Works in Shokan, NY, before we began producing our own. It is a powerful bar, with a slight licorice finish. We hope you enjoy the experience.
