Returning at the Gare de Lyon train station from Tain L’Hermitage we headed directly for famed chocolate sculptor Patrick Roger‘s factory about an hour’s drive north. Our guide, Stefano (M. Roger’s right-hand man) was informative, interesting, and very Italian, and Patrick was kind enough to give us some time as well. And some chocolate, upon which he apparently subsists while working. I caught this photo from the gallery above afterward–it elegantly captures the sense of the artist at work.
