The Earth Day Truffle
A celebration of the Earth and the origins of chocolate and the Olmec people who first consumed cacao over 4,000 years ago, mixing it with chilis and spices and water and wine. A celebration of cacao and of the Earth from which it grows.
The Earth Day Truffle is a hand-crafted jewel of local butter and cream steeped with guajillo chilis, true Ceylon canela, and plump vanilla beans, and blended into 64% Madagascar chocolate.
I want to send a seriously big thank you to Real Green Goods (35 S. Main St. in Concord) for hosting the excellent Earth Day event this past Saturday. It was great to meet all you new folks and to chat with some of you long-time fans.
